Comparison

To provide some real world statistics on mattx technology, we compressed two real world pieces of popular music - 4'33 by John Cage and Silver Machine (Live) by Hawkwind. We pitted it against, MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, AIFF, Musepack and Windows Media Audio.

The resulting mattx file was only 2 bytes. The rest were several megabytes -- this is the kind of real world proof that mattx delivers.
